Stainless Steel Header Stud Kit
Stainless Steel Header Stud Kit
Has anybody gotten this from Comptech:
Stainless Steel Header Stud Kit
$99.95
The ultimate finishing touch for your car!
Set of 9 SS studs, 12-point nuts & washers
Studs are rated at 190,000 psi
V6 cars will need two (2) sets of these.
Our car needs 2 sets of these I guess. IS this like a Chrome plating that goes over the VTEC 3.2 ??
Thanks
Nick

Honda Motorcycles it says
It says its only for Honda Motorcycles though, can I call him up and talk with him about my 2002 CL Type S engine cover and stuff or what? If not, what does this stainless steel thing do though. Is there a plate that covers the engine or is it just screwes and nuts in stainless steel?
Thanks

All they are are the bolts and nuts that hold on your headers. If you have the Comptech headers, look at the front one. See the nuts holding it on. Well they would replace the bolt and nut with a chrome plated one.
It would require removing the studs from the engine. Not a do-it-yourself job.
Waste of money.

Yup Comptech is the only game in town, TODAY. There are rumors that other companies are making them.
Don't waste your money. You're paying $20 for a set of chrome nuts and bolts. My opinion they would look stupid against the bronze color of the headers.
