SRS light staying on?

SRS light staying on?
My SRS light came on 2 nights ago and wouldn't shut off. I haven't driven my car yet today but all day yesterday it was on. what does this mean? thanks.... im goin out to the bar now

Look in the FAQ--you will see it there - TakeFlight had this problem along w/ several other people--Sounds like they need to replace the sensor for the SRS and tear apart your pass. seat....But everything is warranteed, dont worry

When the SRS light came on in my CL-S, they had to replace something called the OPD sensor. It's in the back of the passenger seat. They had to take the whole seat out and the seat back to get to it. Its under warranty and takes a few hours so get a loaner.

The SRS light probably means your airbags are NOT going to work - get it into service now!
From the owner's manual: "WARNING: Ignoring the SRS indicator light can result in serious injury or death if the airbags, cutoff system or tensioners do not work properly. Have your vehicle checked by a dealer as soon as possible..."
