Squeaking with CT sways?

How many of you with the Comptech sways have experienced squeaking/rubbing noises while taking turns? Is the car plagued with it or will a shot of silicon spray every now and then take care of it?

i don't have sways but i recall that its recommended to spray a little at the contact points... that or some WD-40.
as far as having to do it every now and then? i don't remember... but i'd say better than not doing it at all.

I had the same problem with the CT rear sways squeaking. I replaced the polyurethane bushing with the hard rubber from CT. Haven't had any squeaks since.

mine seemed to squeak for about a month after I first had them put in, but only after pulling into my driveway after coming home from work. Haven't heard sound one out of them since, and they were installed back in April.

Back in September, I was told by CT that they would be shipping all rear sways with the hard rubber bushings. You might want to double check this with them.

I think most of us with CT sways have encountered the squeaking. The first time it happened, I tried silicone spray ... worked for about a month. Finally, I got under the car, removed the bushings, and loaded 'em up with some good grease. Not a squeak since ... about a year. Try it ... it works ... takes about 8 minutes. Just use some good grease.

I got my grease from a store here that sells parts for off road trucks. They had a grease that was made for the urethane bushings, and would not wash off.

My CT sways came with polyurathane bushings... Are they shipping the newer ones now with Hard rubber bushings? I got my sways 2 years ago...

The polyurathane need to be lubed every 6-12 months or else they squeak (especially the rears)

From: Miami - just one day, I would like to drive without getting cut off!
you gotta use that little roll of tape that comes with the headers. Immediately removes the sqeauking. Its probably just the bar slightly moving inside the urathane bushing. I had the same prob until I slid under the car and put that tape on.
