Just got back from detroit, went to a cousin's wedding and reception, everybody had fun. That was the good part the great
part was gas mileage. I avg. 28.2 going to detroit and 29 mpg
coming back and the avg. speed was 80 both ways. Only saw
2 troopers(one in OH and one in PA).

I was afraid something might be wrong w/ my car because ofmpg
going to and from work, but now it just maybe the traffic i deal
with.

 

Hey I've been thinking of driving from DC to Cape Cod for a wedding. I guess the drive to Detroit is about the same duration? Did you have a radar detector?

 

no ,no radar detector(not yet).

did a quick search on mapquest, cape cod looks to be 110 mi.
shorter and gives a time of 7hr.47min one way @55.

might be quicker w/ extra motivation.

 

even on the highway i am deep into the throttle, my mpg sucks every where
