I would ask some of the members that are from your area where they got their springs installed. A good install price is around $100 plus about $50 for an alignment.

$140 for Comptech springs AND sways installed (at a dealer).
Basically two hours labor.
And you shouldn't need an alignment.

Shouldnt need an alignment? Um ok, what are you smokin?-jk. I paid $129 for my springs, and a mechanic I know put them on for $50 after hours, it pays to have a hook up.

You WILL need an alignment after a spring install (unless you are trying to wear out your stock tires.. like I was.) :P

Shawn S... I don't think the PAA price listed includes an alignment. It is also listed as a seperate work item on their Comptech pricing page.

Hey bud, I just got my comptech springs and shocks installed in San Antonio for $120 even. I got it done at a rim shop. This did not include alignment. I have a lifetime alignment from firestone so I just ran over there once the install was done. If you want to get it done there, hit me back and I'll give you more info.

I was under the impression that once you got the springs you are supposed to drive the car for a few weeks and then it is MANDATORY to get an alignment after they have “settled in”.

I’m still confused as HELL if I should get them or not.
One person says they’re GREAT and then the next post I read about tires with the cords hanging out from uneven tire wear because of springs.

TIMES TEN !!!!!

You should get an alignment when you have the springs installed. The lower springs cause the camber to change and this will strongly impact tire wear and even handling. We have done many, many installs and have done alignment on every one- we have not had a single problem with tire wear. Our spring install price does not include the alignment- that is an additional $49.95 as listed on our web page.

Bottom line- do the alignment and do it right!
