Which Springs...

I just got 19' Moda R6's for my CL-S, and I was wondering what springs I should get. I want to get a nice drop, but absolutely no rubbing or anything like that. Please let me know, I am installing the rims on Thursday, and I need to put springs on as soon as I can after that because I dont want my car looking like an off roader. :P Thanks in advance.

Well....

All the springs mentioned are made by eibach and just marketed under a different name. As to which springs to get for your car. I would go with the H&R or the comptech. If you have a big box (sound system) and don't have koni's or tokico shocks you will rub if you get anything more than a 1-1.5 inch drop with 19's. I would go w/the H&R unless you like the raked look.

It all depends on how low you want to go. Do you want to slam your ride on those 19s or do you want a more moderate drop that will be easier to deal with in day to day driving. Also, do you know the width and offset of your wheels? This will make it easier to determine wether or not you will rub with different springs.

The width of my tires and rims is 8 inches, and the off set is 45...what do you think?

19s with an offset of 45 is cutting it close. You may want to wait until soopa drops his car and see how he does as far as rubbing goes since he also has 19X8s. I'm not sure about the offset he has, but I'm almost positive that the Axis Se7ens he has are also a +45 offset.

How will the car be if I go with the Comptech springs? I figure that since I already have comptech header, and exhasut I my as well put on the springs and sways......what do you think? I dont want any rubbing at all! I just want a decent drop! A noticeable one.

Did you read the response from ROD? The type of question you are asking would require someone to set their car up exactly like you are planning to set your up. The chances of that happening and that person seeing your question are quite remote.. YMMV

In the Springs? link, there is a picture of Eibach Sportlines on with 19x8s with +51 offset (Courtesy of blxmjx). You could search on blxmjx to make sure the offset is +51 (I may be wrong and it may be 52).

The higher offset moves the wheel inside, the 45s may rub on the outside (notice I said MAY)...

The size of the tire (235/35-19) would seem to dictate the offset sitting around +48-52, with 52 being optimal (IMO)
