Which is BETTER.....Eibach Pro kit or comptech?????????

I'm going to order springs tomarrow, and I was was wondering which spring is best.....the Eibach pro kit, or Comptech spring. I like the lowered look, but not slammed. I also care a dreat deal about RIDE QUALITY. Also, Am I going to need an alignment after I lower the car. A friend of mine lowered his Celicat 2 inches and he didn't....Just wondering.

(any input is appreciated, THANX)

i don't understand... how can the Eibach Pro-kits be comparable to the Comptechs when it comes to the drop? the pro-kits look a lower than the comptech springs. i would understand a pro-kit and a H&R sport spring comparison... but comptech vs. pro-kit just boggles my mind.

haha anyway, to answer your question, i would still go with pro-kits just because i really don't like that raked look.

Both are good quality, it all depends on the look you're going for. The Comptechs give you a slight rake and the Pro-Kit makes the ass look like it's sagging. Also, the Pro-Kit is lower all around.

Well, I have the Pro-Kits, and I did have an alignment after I got them. The car is lowered...mine is similar to the 3 series in wheelwell to tire look. IMHO it's how the car should have been setup in the first place.

Do a search!

Cant believe no one said that, but searching this topic would produce all the results you need.

Eibachs are much lower and even look, where as Comptech are raked. Eibach all the way and get an alingment, although dont expect alingment to be perferct.

The Comptech's give a very aggressive look. It hunkers. Also I found that the ride quality (pounding wood like crazy here) is still silent but firmer with the steering much lighter. (is the lighter steering also due to the anti-sway bars?)

Also at least at my dealership the Comptech's are the ones that they sell and install.

Anyways I've noticed on the board that with the Comptech's nobody ever complains about any rubbing or mysterious noises or their asses dropping.

Good Luck.
