so whick one? H & R sport....... I want to get these but am worried about rubbing.... Also worried about ride quality. The H & R OE might be a better choice.... AS long as they are lower then the comptechs.. right.?????

H & R sport would be your best bet to get the 1 1/2 finger gap it wont be 1 finger no way, but to be frank to have it to the height you're looking for with the best stock ride you should get Teins. There's no other option. Ride quality wont be like stock with 19 and H-R springs. I have 18 with comptech and it's a little rough and are supose to have the best stock feel on the market. I have a 2-finger gap in front and a 2 1/2 in back.

Or what about going with H & R OE sport springs. The only thing is are they close to stock and are they more of a drop then the comptechs?? thanks for all replies!!!!!!

When I first got my Comptechs + Koni/Neuspeed yellows (5 adjustable spring perch positions) installed, the perch clip was set at the 4th position (2nd from bottom) giving my CL the "1 finger" gap you're describing (0.8" gap). You will NOT get a stock ride with the car sitting that low. Even w/ the shocks at their softest setting, the ride was horribly bouncy, plus all four corners cambered big-time. Even turning the stiffness up a tad (or more) won't tune the ride quality to that cushy stock ride you like.

Disappointed, I had the clips raised two notches upwards (to reposition the clips, the whole suspension assembly needs to be removed and reassembled) and lo and behold, the stock ride returned. Gaps measure 1.75" at all fours. Oh, and at this ride height, I still needed a camber kit... but only at the rear. Why? The rears were at the alignment limit and after its first alignment, the rears re-cambered 3 days later. So I had a Comptech rear camber kit installed. Now the car rides/tracks perfectly.
