Sponsership

I am getting a Subaru WRX more than likely and was wondering how to go about maybe getting my car sponsered. I have seen sponsered cars all the time and I think the logos look cool as shit. I want to do all sort of modifications to the WRX and I think having a sponser to help lesson the $$$ bill would help. You know I am cool with driving around with all the logos and going to the track every once in a while and going to an auto show like once a month. I was wondering if anyone could maybe make this happen for me or point me in the right direction about where to look for a sponser or whatever. Thxs in advance.

well first you need a sick car.

needs to be well kept..

and you need to cart it EVERYWHERE. every show. all season.

i know a kid who has a camry done up... its not even anything too great... but nice work. he has a ton of sponsors and gets TONS of free shit...

his car was racing in the Sprite commercial "Lady Racer"

he did it by bringing his car to all the shows... and having well written proposals. he solicited his sponsors like mad...

im sure he gave some head too... but hey... thas the price for free shit 000

like soopa said get it looking real nice and send letters asking for sponcers to anyone who would think of sponcering you. then take it to all the car shows.Only thing that sucks is I know someone that DC sports sponcered(he has a old style Si) (looks nice) and he told me there's a lot of "hoops" you gotta jump through to keep them happy. when I first got my car I was thinking about souping out the outside. I was gonna put 18 inch chrome TSWs on it and get a sponcer from them and I was reading through the "rules" for sponcering you it's worst than a building regulations. it's a bear

good luck you would probably have to dump like 20 k on your wrx to try and get it sponsored, you need to make the car very unique, and get a massive turbo upgrade

Getting sponsors to give you free stuff is not easy.

Getting sponsors to give you a price discount so you can put a sticker on your car and tell all your friends your sponsored...that's a little more likely.

It's all about who you know...especially if your car is nothing out of the ordinary.
