Is anyone watching this showroom stock series besides me? Acura is 4 and 0 in the first 2 races. The supercharged NSX is trouncing the Vette's and 911's in Grand Touring. This even with a 70 pound penalty after winning the first race. And the Integra is killing the BMW's in touring class. If it wasn't for the weight penalties Acura could easily go 6 and 0 in both classes. However, the extra weight has got to slow them down.

i watch the GT/Touring car races as well, but unfortunately the BMW does have the speed advantage over the Integra's, so as long as a course is twisty with no long straight-aways, the Integra is nimble enough to outmaneuver, but get a stretch where a BMW is right behind an Integra and fogettabout it. it's cool to watch. makes me wanna race. do any of u guys enter your CL's/CL-S's in races?? u guys do well at these races?? any of them in the NY/Long Island area??

Usually Friday nights starting at 8 and running through 10. The touring at 8 - 9 and the GT at 9 - 10. In fact I think the next race is this Friday night.

Scooter: I was at the Sebring race live and in person. The Sebring backstretch has one of the longest straights on the tour. The Integra's did NOT have a problem hanging with the BMW 3 series on the backstretch. Granted they couldn't pass back there, however they did pass into the next corner.
I agree with you though it should be Acura V6 against BMW I6. This Acura I4 against BMW I6 crap isn't fair! Even still it is Acura 4 BMW 0! What does that tell you?!

You're running as many quarter miles as can be, knowing the cops are coming, then scattering like cockroaches in the middle of the night."
