Sound @ 1750 RPMS

Hello,

I keep hearing a sound at exactly 1750 rpms in each gear. It sounds like the torque converter. I used to just hear it once each time I first started going after starting up the car, but now it's ALWAYS there in EVERY gear and it gets really annoying after a while.

I just got a new tranny a couple of months ago and headers/icebox last month.

What could this be?

Thanks

What does it sound like? It could just be drone or resonance from the headers.

No, I don't think it's the headers. It used to make the same sound with the stock manifold, but it made it just once after startup. Have you ever heard that noise when you first start up your car and start going in first, it sounds like the torque converter or whatever it's called, but it's doing it in every gear instead of just once after I start going after startup.

i know that sound you're talking about.. not sure why you're getting that sound every gear shift though. can be a bad tq converter/tranny i guess... and you're not alone, alot of us here have multiple trannies from honda.

Oh and maybe I should have said that the reason I think it has to do with the tranny is because when it's in neutral, it doesn't make the sound, just when I'm moving.

I never noticed any special noises, except for little high pitch noise from the CAI.
