Soop, Mods, somebody, HELP! "technoid" user-id has VANISHED!!
PLEASE HELP!!!! I've lost my IDENTITY!!!
Sorry to post here, but I really wanted to get your attention.
When I logged in yesterday, I was welcomed with my real name (Jeff Rosen) instead of my user-id "technoid." When I subsequently responded to a post, my real name appeared insted of "technoid." To preserve this mistake for posterity, this post has recently been archived under "Extremely Useful Topics"!!
When I searched the forum User database, sure enough, my user-id "technoid" NO LONGER EXISTED there. Instead, l found my real name. As there is no way for me to correct this, I'd really appreciate someone getting "technoid" back into the User database and doing whatever else it takes to straighten out this mess.
BTW, is it possible for someone to modify the archived post to reflect my correct user-id?

Did you originally register with the name you're using now and change it to "technoid"? If so, its because we upgraded to VBB and all the names, custom status, etc got reset. Just email soopa or satin and they should be able to take care of it for you.

I tried emailing Soopa to get my name changed back to Wild Weasel - but no response.
When will Wild Weasel ride (write?) again?
