Hacksaw? punch & hammer? They are only plastic. Shouldn't be that hard to get them off. Buy a cutoff wheel that you can put into a drill maybe?

Look at your owners manual for the dremel.. There are plastic screws on the side that allow the brushes to be taken out. If they have warn too thin, then you can buy some new brushes and your back in business...

<--- own 2 dremels.... one w/ bad bearings (I had hoped it was just the brushes), and a new one to replace it...

You need to be very careful removing the trim.

I used an exacto knife and just sliced the top of the plastic rivet off. I then used small sheetmetal screws to hold it back on.

I'm dreading the rears... I hate taking out the back seat since my sub box is attached to it. Is that silver paint? It almost look white in the pic.

I used quick setting epoxy to re-attach my trim to the door panels. It worked like a charm.

actually there are two bolts to remove...and you just have to pull up the bottom seat to get to it. but when you remove that you have to pull the panel out towards you and look behind there to see an L bracket with a bolt on it....just squeeze youre arm in there to get that and pull and wiggle the bitch off. I just took them out because i wasnt sure if there were any bolts back there.

yes it is Ultra silver paint...the lighting isnt real good. its in the garage.

yep i got quick epoxy too. and hope that will work.

Maybe I'll tackle the rears this weekend if you say I don't have to pull out the whole back seat. I may hit you up fr some pointers later.

Ok, Stealth... I'm about to pull off those rear panels.

I really hope I don't have to take out that seat back. My sub box comes out with it.

you dont have to pull them out, just the bottom coushins, i didnt see the screw that is covered up in the handle part. its just that one screw and the one underneath.

I finised up the project tonight. It looks great! I wish I would have finished it a long time ago. Typical of me, really...

I took the seatback off it's hooks but I never pulled it out of the car, I just kind of worked around it.
