Somebody explain this paint job
What am I looking at? Is this a really good wax job that's reflecting everything, or is it some sort of cracked up camo look?

Thats's pretty bad, although I have to admit to lingering on the photos for a few moments. What is the bar with yellow ends in the boot? Looks a bit like the finish applied to cheaply constructed furniture to add "character".

If it IS, how do you explain that it wraps around the car and covers the TOP of the bumper, trunk underside and even the hinges?

the marble paintjob was actually cool a few years back when it was done on the D2 Technik Civic hatchback (from The Fast and the Furious). nowadays it's just tacky IMO. but that guy does win from time to time at shows. i guess for once JT did put a little effort into their cars...

it's a special paint job. ever spraypaint on oil. it does't hold a to the material. but bunches up. Thats what that paint job is like. The chemicals don't bond corectly. It's not supposed too.
