Somebody egged my car and...

My driveway was repaved last week so I have been parking my cars in front of my house. No big deal. Yesterday, my neighbor was having a huge party so the entire street was filled with cars. I was driving my first gen. CL and couldn't park in front of my house, so I parked accross the street. After the party I was going to move my car back in front of my house, but forgot and left it there. I was not worried because I live in a nice and safe area (there is a 740iL and XK8 always parked on the street and not garaged). This morning I go to my TL which was parked in front of my house. I try to start the car, but the battery was dead. Mad and late for work I gave up and ran accross the street to my CL. There I noticed the front windshield and side were egged. Who the fuck would do that? the obvious reason is because I parked in front of my neighbor's house, but they are old and nice so I don't suspect them.

My 3.2 CL was fine, but do you think the TL's battery was related to the egging of my other CL? Or was the battery just a coincidence?

Please help!

I think the TL saw the incident and was up all night trying to let you know and trying to get over to the CL to help, but it's battery eventually went dead from it's effort.

Sorry to hear about the egging, but it could have been much worse......a key scratch down the side, or someone smacking into the car would have caused permanant damage...this is just some washing.

Maybe the guy with the 740iL didn't like you parking in front of his house. j/k

Maybe this will cheer you up> <. I just hope that your paint wasn't damaged. Did you got all the egg off before the sun baked it?

Somebody threw an egg at my car when it was parked over night, it took a while to wash off the egg, but it left many small dots of missing paint
I asked my dealership to do an estimate on how much it will cost to buff it off, but probably can't buff it off.
some people are just assholes, why throw eggs at night, throw them when I am inside the car so I could see the motherfuker who did that

Damn, i heard that you can't do anythng but repaint after an egging, because of the acid or something.

If you wash it off quickly enough it will go off, but the problem is that egg shell can take off small chips of paint

That sucks, atleast someone didnt thorw a dozen eggs all over your car. It happened to me a few months ago, I was spending too much time wiht some guys girlfirend and he decided to egg my 1st gen. I found out who did it and he is in the process of paying me the $2000 it will cost to repaint the hood, bumper, trunk deck lid, spoiler, drivers door and the gas door. I am paying another 1500 dollars to just get the complete car painted. It sucks having your car egged. As for teh small chips of paint, they don't come out wiht a boffer or anything. I spent hours trying to get them out before i took it to a body shop and was told the only way to get the chips out is by painting the car.

Yep, I've been egged too, in the summer heat of the Stockton Ca. afternoon is when I noticed it. Paint was never the same after that.

park it out again and wait....

i got hit by a waterballoon going 3 blocks to 7-11 at 1 am and when going back to my car i noticed water dashed everywhere. i drove back to the house, waited 15 mins, and went back to 7-11.

sure enough i found the kids behind a wall and started yelling at them in a quite hostile manner, at which point my friend got out of the car and threw his slurpee at them.

havent seen them since
