Some detail information of Extened Warranty?
I finally got my CL and tomorrow they will deliver the car to me. Today when I went to sign the extened warranty offered by the dealer I found in the paper that,
1. there are two program coverage one is called "automotive perferred care" and the other one is called "mechanical advantage care". What is the difference between these two? What did your guys get? What is checked in mine is the first one.
2. there are $100 deductible which the dealer never told me when he offer me the extended warranty. At that time I thought it is full coverage with 0 deductiable. Now it is said $100 and what is more worse is I already signed the paper. Do you think I got a change to have them fixed? I paid $1050 for 7/100K.
3. the warranty is offered by CNA (western national). Is that the Acura factory warranty?
Any suggestion is highly appreciated. Thanks a lot.

Yeah, $100 deductible is way too much to pay. I wouldn't have a c-note hanging over my head, having to pay that perhaps several years from now (when $100 is now worth $150) when I take my car in for a major catastrophic failure costing $4000. And I (a poor Acura-owner) who have very little money for discretionary purchases have to pay a whole hundred dollars to make my car new again?

Ok let me know what you think of this, but there's a site called:

they sell original Acura/Honda extended warranties, no 3rd party for under $900.
Some ppl have mentioned being able to negotiate this low when buying the car, but for we that have already purchased the CL, this sounds like a pretty good deal.
Opinions?
