Soaked CAI after car wash?

I'm dumping over 3 grand worth of mods in my cl-s this summer and I figured whats another 200 for CAI. But I'm getting worried with this problem that its getting soaked. What exactly is happenind to it? I wash my car often and don't want to deal with hassles. Where does weather stripping go and is there the same problem with Xephyr AND Aem?? Thanks.

Can't see the pic -- could you move it to photpoint -- please?

There now seems to be a "landslide" of "concern" about WET K&N filters.

Idea...

Make a kit and sell it for $$$$

to the right lang, it's the piece that meets the fender right where there is that gap between the fender and the hood.

Type S: Still having problems seeing it? If the site is blocked by local filtering software, just go around it by using a web based proxy server like anonymizer.com
