So What Happened to Our Clutch/PP/Flywheel Being Made?
I guess this just kinda died?
I'm at 80k miles on the stock clutch and I've got some clutch slip with hard driving so I need to start looking for a replacement. I'm really interested in a lightweight flywheel and might as well upgrade the clutch and PP while I'm at it.
Wishful thinking?

Couldn't get 5 people to commit. I was willing to be the tester on the MrHeeltoe project but nobody was willing to pony up the deposit to get the project off the ground.
cl8tr has an option using the Sachs pressure plate but I don't know if anyone has confirmed the clamping force on the PP. SIRSIG bought a kit and is testing it out.

Comptetition Clutch is still out there as a possibility but no committed time frame:

I can't wait too much longer so I'm sticking with my Comptech Flywheel and a fresh OEM PP and new sprung organic friction disk.

I just know I'm going to need a clutch sooner rather than later so I might as well upgrade if it's (roughly) the same price as an OEM unit.
I've also got the mod-itch again so I can see myself being boosted again by summer time.
I've decided to keep the car because it isn't worth shit on trade-in or private party sale.

I just don't trust a HP replacement that doesn't have any long term R&D.

The stock clutch slips badly with the supercharger.

i don't know how can you guys say that a stock clutch is just "fine" were a lot of sc guys slip their stock clutch? agreed we have other people here who used stock clutch and never had problems with it, but, that's because we still haven't got anybody to make us one for CL-S 6 speed... until now.
i have cl8trr's CM kit and so far i couldn't say anything bad to it. My sc couldn't keep up with it what i meant was the engine revs so fast that the car's a/f can't nuetralize the mixture. I'll hit the dyno again to verify that theory, because it can also be just my belt slipping...

^^^ I'm awwww crapping because I don't know if you know that I just replaced my clutch last friday on my 2G CL-S
I ordered the parts through acuraoemparts.com as well, except I also used a 5% coupon in addition to their already discounted parts. I ended up saving quite a bit of money on the parts.
Oh well, no sense in crying over spilt milk. On to bigger and better things (can't wait to install my headers this weekend )
