shifter bushing: corsport. I have them but not worth my time taking them off to sell.

the kit will not get produced again, i talked to the guy to get him to sell them to CL members since it was related to the prelude one he made (required 1 different part... and i think it was the 5th gen prelude I can't recall, search it on azine i think I posted it).

good luck.

IIRC, there werent any vendors that carried PSpec shifter. You ordered direct from him.

Im glad I got mine. I love it.

The Corsport bushings are nice, but Im liking the design of Hybrid Racings shifter bushings more. Ill be picking up a set of them in the near future and selling the Corsports.

Civicdrivr I looked up those hybrid racing bushings and they do look like the better choice since it's a spherical bushing but they don't offer it for our car?

IIRC the RSX bushings work.

HeelToe has them listed for the CL, and they are the same for the TL and the TSX. Hybrid Racing doesnt sell bushings for any of those cars but I remember Marcus confirming that they fit.

Nice find looks like I finally can buy a shifter lol. I already installed the hybrid racing shifter cable bushings on the transmission is there any other bushings inside the car near the shifter to do?

There are four bushings that hold the shifter to the floor. The PSpec comes with aluminum bushings. Not sure if you can get them anywhere else.

Great find rp_guy! Can anyone confirm that this is a viable option. Is it a pspec clone? I like a bunch of you hadn't gotten to the short shifter, was planning to do it later. Thought I could just buy one whenever I wanted. Then pspec closed.

Foxbody you should pick this up and be the tester for us. Since you seem to want one so badly.

I will be buying one today it looks just like the p spec one so will see how it goes. I still need to figure out what shift knob to get I want something silver to match the trim in the car. It doesn't have to be nothing crazy or expensive.

According to guy that made the pspec ss, the person who makes the jtc shifter bought a pspec ss in 2009 and is remanufacturing it at a cheaper cost using different materials. So it is basically a pspec knockoff.

here is his quote

"Thanks for heads up. This guy actually bought a kit from me in November 2009. Here is what I sent the douche on his contact page.

Quote from your "About Us" Page:

"I have designed and redesigned many parts based on what I believe the car community could benefit from most. I wanted to create quality aftermarket car parts that I had always sought to buy, but was never able to find, or at a standard and price that I believed was good enough. I did not want to waste my hard earned money on something that I deemed inferior. I wanted to create high quality parts that I knew would perform to my extremely high standards."

Really? Seriously? Come on man.

If you’re going to knock-off other peoples work, at least pay credit where credit is due. I coined the term "True Short Shifter" almost 10 years ago. Even the Chinese put "M style" or something similar for when they knock-off Mugen etc.

Your adjustable shifter is a disgusting knock off of the PSPEC TUNING height and throw adjustable shifter. I came up with that design. It was my original idea. I was the one that "DESIGNED and REDESIGNED" the kit to get it perfect. It was such a good design that other companies, such as Hybrid Racing, incorporated the design into their shifter. At least they made their own version of it. After all, "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery"

Suggested content for your "About Us" Page

"My name is Tommy Carrol of JTC Knock-Offs. I use my mechanical engineering background to reverse engineer other peoples products. I make inferior quality clones of existing products, out of cheaper materials, so I can sell them at a lower price than the original companies that invented them. I take credit for the product designs on my website. I don't do this to big companies that make millions of dollars every year. My business model is to take sales away from the small creative startup companies, by stealing their ideas from them and underselling them."

What you are doing is no different than plagiarism as far as I'm concerned. How does it feel to be "swinging from my nuts"

-Pete Stefanowicz

Original US Manufacturer of "TRUE" Short Shifters for Cable Shifted Hondas. Creator of the height and throw adjustable shifter for cable shifted Hondas. "

I dont think he has any reason to be mad now tho cause he sold all ss kits he made and isnt making more so not like he lost any business from it.

If what Pete says is true, I agree with him. I dont think he patented his shifter design though. He really should have. Hindsight is 20-20 though.

That said, people that steal others ideas are the lowest form of thieves, plain and simple. No creativity what-so-ever, just looking to cash in on other peoples designs.

Hmmm, reminds me of Fast Brakes.

i can understand why he has gone out of business.. didn't patent the design, and it was copied by a much cheaper method..

Sadly most people dont care about this and only price, why knock off companies do so well. It is the same as xs headers, rota wheels etc but ppl love those because of price.
