do any of the kits have a different threading for shift knobs? I ask because my new CL has a short shifter (doesn't seem adjustable, and not sure what brand it is). I couldn't thread in my TL shift knob

Wow, I'm so late to the short shifter game. I was waiting for my state tax refund in the mail (yes I didn't want to pay $20 to e-file a minimal California tax credit ) to get a shifter from pspec back in Jan. Now that I have it, I just found out that they are offically closed but I saw that JTC as an intresting alternative. I'm going to be a test noob and try it out before you guys do. I'll let you know how it goes. Wish me luck!

JTC short shifter. Install was ok but i had to trim a shifter a lil. In the lowest position its is a bit hard to put it into reverse but its not a big deal. It was worth the money.

When I first installed the PSpec I needed to trim part of the console so I could go into reverse.

So I guess I see what you guys are talking about the shifter not going into reverse. I too am having trouble getting it into reverse unless I jam it in or take off the boot itself. Btw, what position do you guys have your shifter in for the height and the throw?
