All I wanted was to save a little bit of money for once instead of spending every damn pay check on the car, rent, utils, alcohol, etc.

So I looked on autotraders and found a local guy with a 1999 Integra LS. I used to have a Silver 1995 Integra LS before the CL so I thought it would bring back some good memories....

NEHHHH...wrong. That car is slow...slow...slow. The interior is several grades below the CL's. It was built like crap...parts seemed cheap.

WHAT WAS I THINKING!!! I got back in the CL-S and I thought..."ahhh...leather heated seats..."

can't beat it with a stick...even though the tranny sucks ASS!!!

maybe that'd be a good idea chikai... you sound like yo'ure at an age where you need to be thinking about saving money for this and that and no longer living paycheck to paycheck.

downgrading cars just might be a good idea.

 

I still feel my 96 teg was much better built than my cls.
I never had one rattle, no tranny problems, no rotor problems, had better handling, etc. Yes the cls is faster, but I feel my older teg had a higher level of quality.

my 91 teg is a rolling pile of doo. just got done bailing water out of the trunk...something i do every time it rains.

 

so what you going to do?

 

maybe you are going to extremes, why not downgrade slowly... like getting a 2002 rs-x... or a new mazda 6 with 4-cyl... or... get something like a 93 cadillac STS... a 93 300zx turbo or any 10 year-old luxury-sports car. .you might have fun with this...

 

My 99 GSR rocked!! And it was FAST too! Headers, intake, exhaust, ignition, I could go on...I loved my teg!

I looked at RSX-S's and they are about the same price as my CL-S if I sold it now. So no real savings there...just downgrading. Pretty pathetic, eh?

That would be the only other car I would consider.
