Soda at Ralphs right now is 36cans for 6.99 with club card. Not sure but I think there is a 3 12pak limit. That is a great price...about 20cents a can? Anyways..just thought I would share since I just came back from grocerie shopping

I've been to the park before - you can drink beer ONLY if you're COOL about it!
You can't be seen with it openly! - must have it in a cup, or have a "can cooler" around it, so it's not visible!

So, how do you guys want to set up the BBQ food responsibilities and activities? ...I think everyone should bring one "side dish", then, we should ALL donate $(X) to cover the burgers and hot dogs, and condiments! Someone should do the shopping after we get a "headcount" for food, charcoal, etc...

1) We should have some sort of way to sign up for stuff so everyone doesn't bring the same thing. For example, an email that gets emailed over and over to everyone with spots to sign up for bringing chips, sodas, cookies, etc.

2) As for the meat, I'll go to the store with ya Kvit. I think we should do the head count as well. Maybe I'll even pitch in a little extra toward the beer fund.

3) Noon is perfect to show up. BBQ gets fired up at 1 or so. How's that sound? Good for the sleepers or those who don't have the type S and need extra time to get to the park (CLpower, GVtire, tw1112, anyone else Sorry to pick on you guys, but )
