It is hard to hear the new style Eaton roots type blowers, particularly since they have the bypass open when at vacuum.

16.5k on the M112 is pushing it and taking that unit way out of the correct abidiatic range. All of the charts from Eaton show a peak tested range of 12k revs on the blower:
