i wish this was a joke, but unfortunately, this was more serious than i would've liked...this past weekend, i Z'd my car 3 days straight...by the time i was finishing up yesterday, i had such a bad headache and was so naucious (sp?), i was so light-headed and on the virge of passing out...i physically had to go inside and rest for a while before finishing up...and i was outside all 3 days, so ventilation wasn't an issue...so i'd say to u guys b careful if u're gonna spend a lot of time Z'ing the car...maybe get a mask or try to space out Z'ing and leaving the area when not Z'ing so u're not constantly breathing the vapors...after going inside for an hour, my headache was a lot less severe, and my other symptoms died down also.

 

Perhaps the EPA should look into that stuff.

 

Yep, I noticed that as well when i first started using zaino. Even now if i get too much exposure i don't feel so well. I don't get headaches or anything but something isn't right. Now, always have a mask and surgical gloves on when i used any sort of chemical on the car. I Hope you are feeling better.

 

Well, i don't think any car wax/cleaner is too friendly. Unless you are using plain water and caranuba wax to clean everybody needs to exercise caution.

 

I do it inside with the garage door closed sometimes.
I guess this helps explain my DIMINISHED mental capacity.

Yea, scooter does have a point here. Moreover, that blue doesn't take that much work for it too look very nice. All though Shawn's car does look awesome......Time will tell.

 

Scooter, you needs to find yourself a girlfriend. She will definately help you out. :P But you are right when I wash my car, I always have to put zaino. When it dries, I wipe it off, I put another 3 boats after. To finish my Zaino process, I spray Z6 all over the car. My parents think Im crazy being up all nite applying the zaino, but who cares, I love the shine of it.

 

I don't think having a girl has anything to do with spending time on the car. I can't have my car going around looking like shit....if a girl can't understand that....she'll get the boot.

Interesting...I typically Zaino inside with the garage door open, just so some light can come in so I can see where I have/have not Zainoed.

I have yet to feel these effects though...I did 2 coats this weekend, but with a pause of 6 hours b/w coats.

I wonder what the culprit is.

 

hahahaha, you get more pleasure from your car or from your girl? But you are right, Im a neat freak, my car always needs to be clean. I cant seeing it dirty, one little bird spot and tar makes me go nuts. My car needs to be clean all the time.

My wife SORT of understands why I spend hours washing/waxing and keeping my CL the cleanest car on the block. To me, it's all about pride. And shit... If I'm gonna spend that much money on a car, I better take care of it.

She gives me such shit when I always look for the smoothest piece or road, dodge the smallest post holes, miss the smallest puddles of water, etc.

 

Just a comparison hehe I woman is wonderful but so is the car It's a different kind of pleasure hehe

 

I think Zaino would make a great weight lose program for the women. Its good exercise putting on 3 coats of z2 followup up with z6 inbetween. Plus with your hands full of zaino the mcNuggets will just slip out before you can eat them

And you can see the results in the shine!

 

Can't wait to bring the Satin Sled in on Sunday and have you all drool.

Any chemical exposure is horrible. Last Summer, I helped my neighbor paint some of his interior panels and dye his carpeting. Oh Lord...don't get me started...it ended up coming out great and looked like it was a stock job, but I think I lost three years of my life from all of those fumes.

 

It was a joke chief.
