Hey man...just thought I'd show you a different way of the lettering on my trunk. When I had my trunk fixed, the body shop messed up and put the letters like this and it grew on me and I like it. Just thought I'd show ya.

I knew pretty fast that I wanted debadge ACURA, but was not sure on the rest. So I settled in to the way it is and love it!!

I peeled the CL type S off of mine. I like the symetrical look of the rear that way.
The A by itself looks a bit naked to me.
I do like the rearanged letters on that silver CL. I have thought of getting the small ACURA off of a first generation car, but I sticking with what I have now.
I'd snap a photo and include, but I am too friggin lazy today....

I won't take the letters on mine off. I actually plan on selling my car someday, and I don't wanna have to waste my time glueing the letters back on.

you can always buy the template to put them back on... piece of cake
Plus, the car is so much easier now to detail w/o all those frickin letters!!!

Also, there is no glue needed... if you use it you've already fuked up!!
It is a 3m backing tape which makes it easy.

I'm not a big fan of debadging... And if the paint has faded slighty... It'll look pretty dumb with the faint A-C-U-R-A on the trunk.

i gotta say, i was pretty weary of it for the longest time, then 3 weeks ago i was washing and waxing my car and i just said "fuck it" and took off the "ACURA" with no second thoughts....i cleaned all the glue off, put some wax on it and i am REALLY glad i did it, i was very skeptical, but it was totally worth it, it also gives the car a unique look as not many people have done that. and in any case, you can easily get some new 2-sides tape and put the letters back on if you like...its not like it has to be a PERMANENT mod, ya know?

i voted for just remove the a-c-u-r-a (that's my current setup)

however i think removing everything except the 'A' would look alot cleaner. but whatever you do, at least remove the "acura," it looks 100x better, imo.

i think i will take off the 3.2cl type-s eventually, it does look alot cleaner with just the 'A'. and i should do that before my type-s badge gets stolen by some ricer
