Question Shift Knob spinning.

I was wondering if anyone could offer advice on fixing this problem. The head of my shift knob keeps spinning when I shift. It goes both left and right, is there a way to tighten it?

I tried taking it off but there looks to be a little white clip where the boot meets the knob and I didnt want to break it.

Do I just spin the knob to tighen it? do i spin left or right?

This is an 03 cl-s 6MT btw

Any help is appreaciated.

It should tighten to the right.

Interestingly enough my MOMO knob started doing this 2 weeks ago so I took it off and put the stock knob back on. The MOMO just would no longer stay on.

The boot just pulls down from the knob. It click out & in. Then turn the knob right to tighten it. Then clip the boot back.
