Hey guys,
Just curious... how do you deal with the dust that settles on your car when its in the garage? No matter how clean i try to keep my garage, i always have dust on my car the next day...
Any ideas Mr.Clean?

Got it. BUt i was just wondering if there is somthing that can SUCK the dust out of my garage besides you Nicky. :P
The dust sticks to your car because of static electricity from rubbing it..........so if you stop dry humping your car your dust problem will go away!!!! Whenever you polish/wax a car, you should mist and wipe it with cold water, this will help get rid of the static cling!!!!!
Zaino products will help to eliminate that dust......the product is z6
Zaino Bros' Ultra Clean "Gloss Enhancer" Spray
Super anti-static formula reduces dust and dirt pickup by up to 60%

First off, some of us aren't anal. We're just... Well, we like perfection.
The gloss spray does work, and in combination with the Cali. duster, that's about as good as you're gonna get short of a car cover.
We live in a dusty world...

Getting back to the ORIGINAL question, I don’t really have a problem with dust in the garage.
The Zaino Z-6 spray really helps prevent this because when I don’t use it I can tell the difference.
If there’s any dust on the car in the morning, it’s blown off and GONE by the time I get to work.
If the car gets dusty from several days of driving and I don’t have time to wash it.
I just hose the sucker down and blow-dry it with the leaf blower.
That way I’m not physically “touching” the dirty car with anything other then water & air.
I’ve heard BAD things about the California duster.
If something abrasive gets caught on it your car will be scratched to shit if you don’t realize it in time.

Woodworkers use a machine that filters the air in the shop/garage. Uses replaceable filters, screens the air to .3 microns, turns the air over 6 to 8 times/hour. I'm thinking of getting one to supplement the vac system attached to my saw and router cabinet. Costs about 200 to 300. See Jet, Delta, Sears, etc. The thing is just 2 or 3 cubic feet and can be vented outside if you are not concerned with heat loss in winter. It is just about mandatory for woodworker health concerns. Sieze ya.
