Seen the new Celica commercial?
I wish Acura would just make a fun commercial!
The new Celica commercial is for some new body package they have.
A red Celica is parked on the side of the street (phat looking!). An old man is walking on the other side of the street and looks at the car and yells "SLOW DOWN".
I almost fell off the couch it was so funny.

I was talking to their rep about the kit at the LA auto show last year, where they were gathering the US-market opinions about it. Obviously enough people (including myself) told them to lose the "hood wings" that they took it to heart and dropped it from the the full "Mechanical Sport" kit.
The dealer version will probably be more expensive than the Wings West version, but one will possess the peace of mind knowing that they've bought the original, and it is Toyota-qualitied and warranteed.

Maybe then we'd convince them that Americans can treat Japanese women like humans.
Yes, there was yet another gang rape of a Japanese woman by our boys-in-uniform.

(Is that clearer now? Yes, it was a leap from a joking aside to a serious commentary.)

Wings West copied the JDM Toyota factory "Mechanical Sport" kit (what it's known over there as). Like everything else Japanese, Toyota of America took its sweet time to bring it over.

The front airdam and the rear wing kinda evokes a Toyota "Type R", IMO.
I really do like the look of these new celicas. They look like they would be a fun car to toss around the corners. I also like the fact that almost every girl I see driving one is really hot.
no wonder wings west had their kit ouit like the time the celica came out in the us. i saw the ugly hood wing things on a red celica. it had all that crap except rims. the best part was a guy was driving it. i dont car what n e one says but that car says girl all over it. and thast who i see driving them. including my girlfriend. now the supra is a mans car.
