seats in CL and TL

i like to have a lot of room by my butt when driving.. I was wondering if Acura made any extra large butt seats..? The problem I was having was my butt would cling to the seat too much, causng me to stick to the seat. Any IdeaS?

I do have a weight issue.. however, my butt sits sideways.. due to those inner sides on the seats..can I get that flat?
I was thinking about taking out the front seat and getting a messaging big seat. I don't like adjusting in the acura seat .. since my hairy bottom pulls when I move.. I get my butt hair ripped out.. whats a guy to do?

You could probably go to your local car customizing shop, or where they do upholstery. I have some buddies who had cheap little cars they fixed up for show (Corolla, Sentra), they went to the junkyard, found seats from other vehicles, and the shops helped them to re-upholster and make them fit.

But remember, not too much room in the mighty CL, and it is supposed to have a sports car feel, Id hate to see someone take out these expensive heated motorized sports seats, and replace them with junky Grand-Am velour buckets, what a waste.

What I did to help me out, I bought some expensive ebony sheepskins to go over the factory seats, but I cannot feel the heater much anymore, but I did'nt really need it in LA, you are in Alaska, I would'nt go that route, heat heat heat!

Uh...umm..ok, I'll bite.

I think the TL seats are less bolstered (flatter) than the CL seats.

RL's are really flat, but I don't know if they'll fit.

whats PAM.. and how will it help?? I love the idea of taking out the seats..and putting new ones in. My weight is 289 pounds.. so these acura seats wont cut it.. I am not concernec about the heater.. I kinda wanted a butt massager tho'..any ideas on installing a butt messager with like grand am seats?? I won't want to sound like BUTTMAN, but I don't feel comftorable talking about my bossom with my acura dealership.. It was tough enough getting into the seat to test drive..

ACURA.. please make bigger.. at least wider seats

J/K .

YeaI thought of the PAM trick cause I use that on my front bumper to keep the bugs from clinging to the car. Just wip out the hose and spray.

Just spoke to a friend of mine who has a member in his club, that owns a custom show Dodge Dakota truck. Supposedly, he had the stock buckets taken out, replaced them with refabricated Cadillac buckets from an 99' DeVille, and even had a vibrating motor installed inside of just the drivers seat, and of course had to modify the brackets on which they sit on. Problem is, he told me it cost him in excess of 900$. That seems a little steep, especially for a CL-S thats not even that old, and unless you are competing at the show, who would want to buy a stock CL, with seats from a different car? Usually people that spend that kind of cash for stuff like that keep thier car for life, or sell it to those that want just a show car, ready to go.

I don't have the money to buy a suburban. I also notice that my CL tilts towards the drivers side while I am driving.. was thinking about getting a massager for the rectil siting region and getting warmers down there as well..I was thinking about cutting my side "slants" off my seats.. to allow a FLAT..smooth seat.. I would then have the areas re-leathered. What do i do about tilting..can I get a left-only suspension upgrade? I can't wait till they make bigger seats!

--not everyone weighs 250+, but for those of us who do.. we have something special--:P

Are these questions for real? Did you test drive the car to see how the seats felt? You would have known right away if this car was for you or not.....

BTW.. the car shouldn't "slant" b/c you're 250+ pounds. I've had times where one side of the car outweighs the other by at least that much and there's no noticable slant.... I mean, the side looks a tad lower over the wheels, but from the front or back view you can't notice a difference.

As someone mentioned... you can try replacing the seats with the RL seats as they're bigger. Not sure if they'd fit b/c the CL is a coupe, but whatever you do it will probably cost you some money to have it done right.....

I found out that katzkin makes the rectil messager.. www.katzkin.com. And my CL does tilt to the drivers side.. I have had people tell me that its tilted. I have an inflamation problem in my rectal region.. which I need a flat seat for. This is a medically prescribed situation.. if you don't believe me.. I will talk personally about it: (847)630-2109. This is NOT funny, as some of you have taken it. By shifting my bottom back and forth to sit right.. my rectal region becomes enflamed. PAM will not work.. this is a size and friction isssue. I also noticed that my leather is wearing down quick.. is the acura leather just cheap???

Your profile says you're in Alaska. Isn't 847 like an Illinois area code though? What's up with that?

Mr. Paul Salgan smells like a troll. So who else here drives naked and get their butt stuck to the seat? I am thinking a '70s Cadillac is needed for the troll.

hey
Mr. Paul Salgan

far as i'm concern why don't you phone my number 1-800-EAT-SHIT.

i weigh 270 pounds and i'm 6'3 and found the seats the most comfortable and offered the most support of all car makes thats why i bought the car. My car doesn't lean to one side at all .
you might find that if you remove all the bullshit from your trunk it might level back up.

as far as using Pam i think you need to back off on the vasoline your using. :ghey: :pfawk:

and if you are up and up then get your head examine you would have notice there was problems when you test drove the car.

if you need a big seat take the bus i heard assholes ride for free
