Well last night Im doing my usual 50 something mile commute back from work when I stop at a stop light in this po-dunk mountain town called marion NC. Well this civic pulls up to me at the light and revs his fart can at me. Well I being a good sport prepared myself for the ritualistic slaughtering of this kid and his APCesque civic. Well all of a sudden the revs stop. I look around and behind me is some form of law enforcement with a light bar on top. Well I look forward I have nothing to worry about Im faster than him on the mountain roads if it comes to it, but then I notice somethings not right, thats no shitty camaro, mustang, crown victoria, impala, or vette hes driving. Nope it was nothing less than a TT 300ZX. well the light hit green I pulled away with him on my ass jumped over in front of the civic (which was just stating to move)and let the sheriffs deputy go on his way praying Id never see this guy again. What the fuck is up with North carolina Law enforcement, down east we have Sherrif Hege or whatever his name is with a 410hp impala with black widows painted all over it who cruises around in his swat uniform and has his own website about how much criminal ass he kicks. I gotta get a pic of the 300zx its definently one for the record books on scariest cop ever.

I hear some districts allow cops to used seized and impounded vehicles as patrol cars. Maybe thats what happened here?

 

State Police in Oregon used seized vehicles as traffic monitors. All red/blue lights are internal, and just a small insignia on the driver's door to demarcate as the law.

Our undercovers in NC used to have license plates the had SHP or SP on them followed by a four digit number but we all got smart to it. So now they are unmarked and have to little blue lights in the corners of the rear windshield inside the car. So when ever I drive Im constantly looking inside peoples rear windows for the lights

 

I think if I saw one of these I may get a little scared.....

I live in suburb of Houston and our Constable has a black Z06. It has the lights sitting on the dash and in the back window.

Damn I'm glad most of our law enforcement are just running little v6 Impalas and late 90s crown victorias.

 

Where I live all the cops in surrounding cities drive 97- brand new Crown vics and Expeditions. The highway patrol has camaros thou, and a slough of unmarked random cars that pull people over.
