Scalbert..EricL...Allmotor... 5AT to 6mt LSD

this has to be doable and is my next big project...with a 1.9 60 on street tires i know i could get the full use of this 2900 rpm stall if i had both tires hooking. dare i say a 1.7 with stickys ...lets talk about the possibilities...

part 206488

part number 29877
huge difference in price 900-300

both the 6mt and the 5at use the same inner and out CV so thats something

For the amount of money you are going to invest to figure this one out... just
switch to a 6MT!

I don't think you're going to get an answer until you crack it open and see if the larger LSD will fit.

You've removed VSA so that won't be a problem. The upgraded transmission from Speed Distrubtors includes an LSD so I'm sure there is definitely a possibility of finding something, even if it isn't from the 6MT that will work.

I believe the transmission shop that SD used was called "ED's transmissions" in the Orlando area.

some 03's i believe have something close to LSD. the guy "ED" who did my tranny upgrade said he put some part from a CL 6 speed in there to make it practically LSD. i dont know crap about transmissions but im pretty sure both of my wheels peel out.
