Question SC Revs

Is it normal for the revs to go up instead of dropping when you shift into gear. I figured its the parasitic effect of the charger not letting the revs drop in between shifts. Wondering if this is normal.....

Nope - not normal.

Are you talking about when you engage the clutch?

happens in my car too and i'm not even s/c. If I let off the gas and press in the clutch the revs will go up maybe 100rpm quick and then drop, almost like short lag in the time the engine take to revs down from the time you take your foot off the pedal. I also checked my throttle cable to make sure it wasn't sticking which is wasnt. I don't have my clutch position switch hooked up though because my car is swapped, does anyone know what that sensor's function is?

Whenever I push the clutch in to shift into the next gear, the revs always climb slightly (250-500 rpm), then drop down. But this only happens whenever I shift below 4000 rpm.

And it did this even before I installed the SC.
