Saw a SC-351 Mustang Last night
That thing was loud.....both engine and SC. If that's what the SC sounds like, YUCK!!!!! I wouldn't get it just because of the noise. Engine sounded nice but that damn squeling and shit....ugh....maybe just what the Roots SC sounds like. I believe it was a roots. Anybody have and ideas? Share experiences please.

Not all SCs are that loud.

Roots type(screw driven) blowers are very quiet and if at all noticable. On the other hand, centrifugal blowers make a loud whine such as...Vortech, Paxton, ATI, and some Powerdyne blowers. These type of blowers are gear driven. That's why there is a whine at idle.

I saw a 10 second turbo civic get spanked by a supercharged 302 Mustang. The Mustang won by only 15 cars lengths and he let off on the gas at the end of the Qtr mile. Ready to race? ")
