True, but I am sure that Audi will stand behind thier cars 100% and take care of what ever problems arise. Unlike other company's which I wont name.........

Really?

I have 4 friends who have had their ignition coils go, and they will NEVER buy Audi / VW again on how they handled that fiasco.

Oh man. You guys have no idea what lousy customer service is. There was one guy who had a 1995 5 cyl S6. He took it in for a timing belt and they let some kid do it who had never done one before. He didn't lock the crank in position and removed the timing belt before trying to loosen the 300+ lb ft crank pulley bolt. Some of the valves were bent. The dealer tried to get out of fixing it for months and didn't provide a loaner or anything. They are also denying a lot of turbo replacement on newer S4s. Audi is notorious for poor customer service.

My girlfriend had 2 coils go at different times and the dealer would only replace one at a time...so she always had to worry about breaking down someplace. Then, when the third coil went, they replaced all four. Why not just replace all 4 the first time? That was a bunch of shit. :thumbsdn:

AHHAHHAHHAHAHAHAHHA

THE VICE PRESIDENT OF MY COMPANY HAD 3 DIE, AT 3 DIFFERENT TIMES AT 3 DIFFERENT PLACES. SHE TOOK A CAB TO THE DEALERSHIP AND LITERALLY STARTED KNOCKING THINGS OFF THE SERVICE DESK UNTIL THEY AGREED TO GIVE HER A LOANER ON THE SPOT, TOW HER CAR TO THE DEALERSHIP AND REPLACE ALL THE COILS.

Yeah, Audi rocks!

Eh...no different than having your trans die going 60+MPH on the highway.

I'd rather the car not start than cause a 10 car pile up on I-95...me being the first one in the pile, etc.

They are great cars. Just not the most trouble free. I had a 1993 S4 and it was awesome. I sold it to get the Acura because it needed a lot of maintenence. It had 130k mile on it though. They've always had weird problems though and Audi always tries to get out of fixing it if they can.
