?'s on UR Pulley's

After i went 14.2 i see that it might be possible to go 13.9.

Where is the cheapest place to get UR pulley's??

And what is the avg cost of the install??

Do those that have the UR pulley's, are they worth it??

Mattg... what was your 'seat-of-your-butt' impression of them? I have been waiting 2 weeks for them to arrive... will have them by tomorrow hopefully.

do you guys think theres a difference between full UR against my setup, the UR crank, and AEM for the other pulleys. i have this because i had done the AEM first, then added the crank pulley later, what do you think it would prove +/- effects mixing the pulleys?

How long have you had the setup? I have the AEM pulleys & I am thinking about doing the same thing as you. Did you notice a big difference once you added the UR crank pulley? The only thing holding me back is that I read it is not good for the long term life of the motor when you mess with the OEM crank pulley. Is this true?

the car revs quicker, gets you into vtec faster. felt like a ~ 10whp gain. i think it helped get me from the 14.30's to the 14.10's.

the idle will feel rougher through the steering wheel though, sometimes worse than others.

whether the crank pulley causes enging damage is yet to be seen, there were alot of arguements on both sides.

one thing i did discover is that the stock acura pulley does incorperate some sort of rubber layer, along with a bunch of extra weight. but is it a damper to prevent crank damage or just something to reduce cabin vibrations? the answer depends on who you ask.

i had my pulleys installed at my acura dealership, they said i should be fine.

i guess only more time will tell. i think it's been 10k miles so far.

Mattg, that's a good price. I also expect 2/10ths down the 1/4-mile... I guess I won't be running it until several other mods are done... so who knows!

I did just the crank pulley and I'm telling you it helped my car alot. It storms out of the hole like never before. BTW if any of you guys are doing an install yourself and need the pulley holding tool PM me and we can work something out. I had to use a torch on the crank bolt to get it loose, other than that it wasn't too hard.
