Arrow S/C and Intercooler but no water pump

As the title say I have the supper charger and the intercooler but I just had to send the water pump off to either be repaired or replaced. Questions is - Will it hurt to run my car with out the intercooler having water pumped to it? I believe it should not but I just want to make sure. I will only be doing short city driving (work and school) and will not be making any real boost. Thank you all in advance. Clinton

Depends on boost level. I think it would be pretty hard to drive it in such a way that you never saw boost, although you could probably come close.

If you are high boost (>5psi), I would park it until you fix it, or switch to a lower boost pully until you can fix it.

Thank you hemhaw. Any one else? I know around town with all the lights I can keep it below 5 with posted speed limit of 40 miles for my 15min drives to work and school.

He has a Hope Systems Intercooler, there are only a handful of them in existence as they were made by one of our very own members who, sadly, is no longer producing them.

You should be fine with the cooler weather. Just take it easy on it and back off if you hear any pinging.

I think the pump is a standard item that you can buy at Wal mart too.

I think this is the pump that was supplied with the kit:

Attwood A750 - Less than $30 at Home Depot.

Thanks Allout.....no the pump I have was upgraded because it and the water tank were located in the trunk. It was from a company call Meiziere (sp?). Well I check and they received it Friday so I will probably give them a call tomorrow to check on it and get a time frame from its return. Really sucks not being able to "play" with my car.
