Red face S/C Gauges

I'm having difficulty picking out the gauges I need.

Please correct me if I'm wrong...
For Fuel: I need a 0-100 sweep
For Boost: I need something up to 15psi (this is most of the trouble)

I've looked at Auto Meter, which series should I look for?

As far as mechanical and electrical; should I choose a mechanical boost and electrical fuel (for safety)?

I'm getting the gauge pod from www.gaugepods.com

Thanks guys!

Always get electrical for fuel pressure if you're going to mount the gauge in the the car.

Get a parachute and ejector seat. You'll need it when you get too much altitude.

Get as many gauges as possible, just for piece of mind.

Well I went with the following gauges....

Phantom Series Gauges - 5763, and 5776...

Edit: The reason I went with this line was primarly to do with the boost gauge maxing out at 15 psi... No need for those 30 psi ones sinces our cars dont boost that high with the SC...

Those are the gauges I'm getting! I was looking at those.

How much did you pay and where? Thank you.

Ultra Lite Pro Comp gauges have a silver face with almost perfectly match the gauges on the dash.

They have a 15psi boost gauges too.

What are you guys doing if you want a third gauge for wideband AF? Is there a 3 gauge pod available?

Unfortunately there isn't. We'd need to get another group buy organized for them to make a 3 pod pillar.

Smitty and I ended up hacking our 2-pod pillars and adding this autometer universal gauge mount. It actually looked good once installed. I don't have any post-install pics right now though...

If you were to pick just two gauges to fill the two pods only, which two gauges would you pick? Boost & AF?

Also, are any of the dual gauges any good?

Fuel pressure is priority #1. After that A/F will probably tell you more than a boost gauge would. If your belt is slipping you'll hear it. It's not like we are running turbos where we can overboost... you nail the throttle, you get peak boost... everytime

I am using the ultralite air fule ratio and the boost vacuum gauges in my supercharged accord.
Hey MRSTEVE, just wondering why the fuel pressure gauge is so necessary. Should I be getting one of these? Thanks.

The Comptech FPR has been known to fail. Low fuel pressure could lead to the engine stalling, engine knock (detonation), etc. Too high fuel pressure will lead to rough idle, and rough partial throttle conditions, as well as fouled spark plugs.

Ask the other guys who really know what they are talking about. Monitoring fuel pressure really is important. A boost gauge just looks nice

What's the downside of going with a manual Vac/Boost gauge? They sure are a lot cheaper.

Just not as nice, not self calibrating, don't match the fuel pressure gauge, etc. Manual gauges are actually more accurate than the full swept electrical gauges.

Around 37-40psi at idle. 100psi at WOT and around 95psi at redline.

I'm going for the Ultra-Lite Boost & Fuel. I wanted something that will match the car overall and I really like the silver look.

btw: for the fuel, what wire did you guys tap in order to send the signal?

I'll keep you guys updated. Thanks, you guys are great!
