Rotors - Drilled or Slotted?

I need some imput on this issue........

I have already gone through a pair of Brembo blanks in less than 10K miles(wraped).
This time I know I will have to get either slotted or drilled or else my rotors will wrap again. I really like the cross-drilled look, but I keep on hearing it will crack.
I need to hear some pro's and con's on each, and especially from those of you who have either rotor installed ------- please give me your most honest opinions.
I'm looking at the Rotora's and I don't mind paying $18 more for cross-drilled.

Also, my Hawk HPS pads are making so much noise, I want to change them too.
Any recomandations on brake pads? I drive like a grandma, I don't need any top performance pads. I just want something durable.

Thank you

I've got the X-Drilled and Slotted Brembos and love them. I abuse the hell out of the too.

Had the for about 10k ow with no problems.

I hear the Rotoras are really good too. You should be fine with either one.

I still use the stock pads also.

Every other brand was getting too much dust on my bling.

Although I would go with Greenstuff pads....less dust.

CO NOT use Metal Masters...great pads, if you like black rims

I heard about it but you really only need to worry about it with the cheaper rotors.

Stick with a popular name and you should be alright. (ie.... Rotora, Brembo, etc.....)

I switched to Brembo cross drilled made by Powerstop with Akebono ceramic pads.

Very happy, no sign of warping after 10K miles and better stopping power than the stock set-up. Pads give off no dust and do not squeal at all. I am sorry I did not get rid of the stock ones sooner.
