^ i'm with you on that one. i would rock some on a teg. they're gangster. BUt, on a cl? nah man dont put them on your luxury car, they dont belong. definately not luxurious. if you really wanna rock some buy an integra to put them on

i was wondering if there is rack for CL as well. cuz sometimes you just need that extra room to move stuff. My cousin with rack said it is possible on our car, just don't know if there is rack made for it. Because inside the door, there are places where the rack holders go.

i wouldnt do it man. the people that had my cl before me had one and dented the damn roof on either side of the moon roof. and that shit is expensive to have fixed.

LoL...yeah thats what I was looking for it for the snowboard! its far and few but I do go when possible..im not looking to keep it on as a visual compliment but I think it would look alright on the ride to mammoth or mountain high.

I have a Yakima for mine when I go biking, no complaints.. Its not meant to look pretty, it serves a purpose people. Doesn't look any worse on a CL as it would on another car. If you really want I can throw it on and take some pics, but it might take a few days before I can get around to it.

If you guys are worried about keeping the CL a luxury car, stop lowering it and adding loud exhausts. Roof racks are more functional than any other mod out there and there are people out there that love the looks of a roof rack (me). So stop hating.
But to answer the original question, Yakima makes universal racks that require vehicle-specific "Q-Clips"... the correct clips for the CL is Q92. Add on the universal Q-Towers, Crossbars, and a mount for whatever youre hauling and youre all set. Wind fairings do make it look better and reduce wind noise, but they are optional.

I've got a Thule on mine....use to use it all the time when I went mountain biking....now the rack just sits in the garage. Had no problems with it....no dents or anything on the roof...just gotta follow the directions and not overload it too much...they do have weight limitations.

I'm personally not a fan of roof racks, but i've also never gone skiing or snowboarding either. This is one of those topics where most people don't like the looks of them, but roof racks aren't really about making your car look cool, they're for making your car more functional for carrying items that won't easily fit in the car (if at all).
My personal advise, if it makes your life easier and works for you then get it, have fun, and don't look back.
