RJ Sport Design Lip Kit Group Buy

Alright ladies, RJ is running a group buy on the CL lip kit. Its a 4 piece kit that is made specifically for the CL - no cutting and molding required. If we can get 5 people (or more) to commit to the kit, he will drop the price to $820 for the entire kit.

Once we get 5 people, a $200 deposit is required to start up the production.

1. PDGCLS01
2. civicdrivr (contingent upon seeing it in person sometime this month)
3. bigdaddyKA8 + Cleptosis (bigdaddyKA8 is getting the sides and rear, Cleptosis gets the front)
4.
5.

Huh? First off I want the whole kit! Second need to check finances, will probably need to put some stuff up on the bm to fund this so I am not 100% committed as of now. Hey civic if you buy are you picking it up?

Pretty sure that's a negative ghostwriter.

I'm in the same boat but I got to respect the fact that it has to make $$$ for him to do the production run.

Thanks civic, after the five kits are reached, any additional pieces like a front lip or rear and sides, etc will be factored in. Cost on a front lip alone will be $340.

Some asked about turn around time, I would say 1-2 weeks turn around. I have to double check tho be sure, our factory is wrapping up a change in factory location right now.

Another thing is shipping. We have some new boxes coming in that will barely make the ups ground shipping requirement. I will have to give individual quotes once the boxes arrive and I take proper measurements and weigh it with the kit inside. With this much discount, we have to be very accurate so we don't end up in a hole.

All kits will come with a small media kit, interior and exterior vehicle emblems, a pair of decals and a special offer exclusive to GB participants for a set of wheels of their choice, including the new for 2011 Legend GR 19" wheels! If We reach 10 kits, I will split the shipping charges with everybody, so you will only pay half the shipping.

Generally, shipping can cost between $85 and $150 depending on where we ship from (west coast warehouse or east coast warehouse), and if it's going to a commercial area or residential.

Thanks for updating Rondy.

2Fast4You - I just took at RJs site and I dont see any anthracite CLs with the kit. There are a few CLs in the gallery there with the kit though from different angles so you may be able to get a good idea for it:

I was thinking the same thing. My comptechs only have slightly more than an inch from touching my stock bumper and it is already hard enough to clean the tips as is.

Might have to bend the exhaust flange to have them sit lower.

Same sized exhasut openings as factory, maybe .25" less because of the thickness of the material in the OEM openings, but nothing crazy.

Any chance will come in DEP or will it be just primed ready to paint to your likings?

I could pickup as well (to cost any shipping/handlings charges)...

RJ could get it painted, but hes said it would most likely be cheaper if you had it painted yourself.

Wifey does not like the front lip.

I may consider the sides and rear lip depending on the price.

Yes, I understand would be best to purchase the Kit as a whole but, still would like to know prices on them.

There is a small chance I can get the kits prepped and primed for the same cost, but I am not sure. My factory is moving locations so I have to verify, but that would be a nice perk. As far as parts cost for sides and rear, $480, but you have to find someone to split the cost for the front.

1 or 2 more guys (not sure who's actually in the list), and we'll get these made.

If he wont sell the front lip for $200 (because its listed at over $400 on his website) and he'll sell the rear and sides for $480, what makes you think he will do $650 for the entire thing?

Guys we are saving almost $300 in this groupbuy. If you like the kit and wanted it before the groupbuy now is your chance. My friend bought this kit when they first went to production and it took alot of time and money to make these. This is a great deal and if you like the kit and can swing the money do it. It will probably sit in my spare bedroom for a while because Im not painting it till I get the whole car resprayed along with my M3 spoiler and other pieces I have.

That shouldnt be a problem. Im not sure how many people we actually have on the list. The list above is from the another thread but who knows if everyone is serious.

1. PDGCLS01
2. AustinTaper
3.
4.
5.

I didn't put my name on the list because I need to see the kit in person, which will be sometime within the next three weeks.

Can your production team make TL lip kits for the CL? I know they don't currently do, but I'll be first in line for that Group Buy!!!
