I agree on the 18s. The 17 wheel looks fine, but the 18 fills in better.

you should get the stock 17's that come on the '02 325i... and then get REAL rims aftermarket.

why play make believe with those ugly 18s?

Go with the 17s. The 18s are nice, but they will be a bitch to clean.. Just to let you know, Germans cars dust a lot more. With those 18s you will be cleaning your rims with a toothbrush.

If you are going to stick with an OEM wheel, I would just get the 17's that come on the car (used to come with the Sport package).

The upgraded 18's are a great deal for $700.....but they are fucking hideous, I would pass.

I cant go aftermarket right away. I wont get aftermarket wheels till later on. Maybe in spring of 2004 i will get 19s. But not anytime soon. I have other plans first.

So pick out of these two.
I still need to buy winter rims

dude, get the fucking 17's from the 325i Sport.

they look HUGE. they can pass for 18's when parked and 19's while rolling but their practical still.

You do not want 18s as stock. You definately dont want those ugly ass 18s.

And those 17s u posted are played out... been around for like 6 years. Get the new joints, im sure theyll let ya mix wheels from other models.

go with the 18's! my friend got the 330ci with the 18's and dude it looks awesome, alot better than in the pics. i am so envious because his car is pimp! the 17's are kinda dull and boring, ive seen em in person. if it was between the 2, the 18's is the clear winner, and then you wouldn't have to spend the time to get aftermarket. Good luck with your choice.

My wife's got the 18's on her 330xi she just took delivery of (gotta change my sig) and I think they look great. I tried to talk her into the sport wheels but she didn't like them. In retrospect, I'm glad she got the wheels she did, plus, I don't have to clean them!!

Come on boys, dont lead him the wrong way. 18s all the way, without a doubt. For 700 you cant go wrong, they look awesome in person. This should not even be a question, 18s, 'nuf said.

jesal something u should keep in mind

with the 18's, your going to need seperate WHEELS and TIRES for the winter, as i DOUBT they are ALL season tires on the 18's.

The 17's probably come with ALL-Season, and even if they dont, you can actually get 17 inch winter tires...but not 18".

So the cost will be above 700 dollars from your pocket.

Why would i keep switching tires on the 17" rims? Im gonna buy a set for winter... so these choices dont effect them at all.

Damn guys, i cant afford the PG3s, trust me i want them BAD!! I just cant get them anytime soon, so the stock rims have to keep me busy for ahwile. So right now im leaning towards the 18" rims. :P

Oh and i dont want the 18" m3 rims, i dont want to be a wannabe M3. :P

Both rims are ugly. Whatever happened to BMW having the best OEM rims ever?

Try to get some 5series rims on that bish.

If those are your two choices, and you are not planning to upgarde for awhile....then I would go with the 18's. But I thought when you order your car, or even at the dealership, you can pick almost any kind of wheel you want? Or are those two choices the only ones you liked? When my friend got his 323ci he ended up getting the 17's that soopa posted, but he got to pick from a bunch of different styles

thats too bad, cuz you'll always hang in the shadow of an M3 unless you actually buy one muhahahaha!

my buddy has an 01' 330ci (black metallic/tan interior) with those 17's on it. Has a little //m logo on each rim for the m3 envious...his car looks *hot*. Women love his ride... You should really see both rims in person before you make a decision. I've seen both in person and IMO the 17's look much better. They're very wide and the stock tires are nice. Oh get the 'illuminaton package' also...sounds gay but man his car looks cool when he opens it at night...

I like the 17" rims a lot better. I recently sold my '97 CL and purchased a 325ci. I have the 5 spoked star wheels which I like a lot also. For some reason, the mesh wheels don't do much for me even though they cost more. Tom
