Just get the stock 17” wheels that come with the car and use them for snow tires.
Buy aftermarket 18” or 19" with sticky “summer only” rubber.
That way it won’t look like the THOUSANDS of 3-Series Bimmers that you see on the road every day.

I canceled my order for the 330ci!!!!
Euro deilvery was too expensive to travel in the summer.. so what im going to do if wait till the 2003 models come out, then order it. It will be around October. Or if i cant wait any longer, i may just pick a car up on the dealers lot. We will see!!!!
Oh and of course it will be a Manual!!

I know ill give in and just either look for a slightly used 330ci, or just buy a car on the dealers lot. I will give it a month then make up my mind.

Buy a 2002 while you still can! I can't stand the changes BMW made to the 330i for 2003. BLEH! I'm definitely not a fan of the 2003 headlights/tail lights or ANY of the 2003 rims for the 330i.
I plan on sucking it up and doing a special order so I can get the sticky cloth seats, no sunroof, and most important the 5spd! Almost all the BMW's on the lots seem to come with autos.

If I were to order a 330ci: manual, metalic paint, xenons, cold pkg, maybe sport. NO: sunroof, leather, Nav, wood, power seats.
Sorta a poor mans M3.

If you want a no-frills performance car you shouldn't be looking at a bmw, you should be looking at a WRX. BMW's should have leather interior and a sunroof; they're luxury sport sedans/coupes-if you don't want luxury and you want a pure drivers car why would you pay the money for a BMW rather than getting a WRX or a mini cooper or something. If you get s stripper BMW all I'm saying is you are gonna have a tougher time unloading it for a decent price. It just doesn't make sense to do that IMO.

Leather seats with BMW M cloth seat inserts are standard on an M3. Full leather is another 1100.
A 330 is much safer, inline 6, RWD. Depends on what you are looking for.
Adding more luxury/features only increase the problems you can have. Other than trannys, people here complain about seat noise, sunroof noise, leather problems, auto dim mirror, ... etc. Don't want extra problems, don't get it.
