Rim Help

Can you fit 18x8.5 with 235/40/18 tires on a 2001 cls? I don't know the offset but they are the Giovanna - Genoa (Chrome). The bolt pattern fits just don't want them to rub.

With a 8.5" rim and 235 rubber, that wheel must have a really high offset for NOT to rub - like a +50 or something. You may get away rubbing issues if you stick with a 225 if the offset is not high enough.

i'd recommend 225/40/18 with a +45 offset try to stay at or under a rim with an 8.0" width.
