A RIDE IN SYNTH19's CL !!!!!!!!

Damn. I went for a spirited ride in Synth19's car yesterday - and all I gotta say is, it sounds like its got a V8 under the hood!! That combination of headers (Comptech I believe), and HKS exhaust, just sounds MEAN. Seriously, it's still quiet inside at normal cruising speed - but when he nailed it - the sound just comes on like a raging beast, along with the smart surge of acceleration!! I was totally impressed.

Synth19, that's one fine machine you have there, and I love the way you have it setup. Perfecto, imo.

DOM,

Are you keeping a repository of everyone's ride? If you are, you should share.

Speaking of which, maybe we need another forum for keeping updated images of ppl's cars w/ mods. (other than the photogalleries)

No Sir, I am not , but that would be a good idea, except updating it would be a nightmare everytime someone got a small new Mod they would want their pics updated (as they should). I would be willing to help some one do this if they wanted to give it a try.

By the way... That pics is from a Chicago meet we had back in April, click the link in my Sig to see more pics...

Hellz yeah. He actually is thinking about doing something like a T66 or T64... T74 = a bit too much lag.

Synth19, you seem to have taken my words straight off my keyboard!! Yes I have lately been considering doing a T64 or T66 turbo...

I look forward to another ride in your car - next time, I want the sunroof and windows wide open, and you have to punch it when we're in a tunnel!!!!!!! I'll get my video camera for that one...

now that you let the "cat out of the bag", I guess I'll include my "sig"... ok later.

Yeah slow like... lightning.

Love Supras.

Anyway, don't forget his CAI also makes some of the growl you heard when he accelerated.

Ok - you have to forgive me cuz I'm not up to speed on the CL lingo. What does Xephyr CAI stand for, and what does it do? And if that had anything to do with the sound, then hey, I'm all for it!!!

Yah... it's slow.. 12.4 @ 115 slow seriously though it's not as fast as comparable Supras, but that's mainly because of the stereo mods (3 amps, full amp rack, fiberglass box with 2 10" JL's taking up the entire rear hatch, you get the idea). So this weighs it down a bit... but I ain't complaining. If I do end up getting the single, it'll be fast.

ps. JRock - you're cool. hheheehe...

Funny thing is that Delobbo and I are also band-mates, anyways...it's funny because his stereo in his car is so badass he used to check out our demo CD recordings in his car.... HUGE difference from my crappy computer speakers....
