Reving in neutral/park check engine light

Let my car sit like a bozo for a couple months. Killed my battery, which was already on it's way out anyway. Just replaced the battery, and now the dash is all lit up with check engine light, srs, vsa. The car will just start reving by itself if in neutral or park. It revs btw 1-2k rpm. When I drive, the shifting is jerky between the first 2-3 gears. Had no issues with the car prior to letting it sit. A little research led me to possible MAP sensor issue. Anyone got any other ideas? Things that could go wrong letting a car sit in the sun for weeks?

Sounds like one of two very common issues with the J-Series engines:
  1. Low coolant level
  2. Stuck Idle Air Control Valve
