I've got a aem cold air intake installed in my car 4 days ago and while driving this morning I hit on the gas hard and my check engine light blinked 5 times and then back to normal. What does it mean? Do i need to disconect the battery to reset ECU to resolve problem?
BTW my battery was not disconnected during instalation.

 

are you sure it wasnt your tcs light flashing? if it was teh check engine light it should have stayed on

 

no it was the engine symbol, im sure

 

well if it went off i wouldnt worry about it. if it comes on again and stays on then something may be wrong

 

Anyone else have any ideas?

 

If it comes back on, have it checked out. Theres nothing more you can do. Probably just an electronic glitch. I wouldn't worry about it.
