Rev Qustion?

Has anyone else noticed that when your car is cold and you press on the gas slightly between 1-2 rpm’s it will sometime gradually execrate the rpm's by it self than start to decrease down.
some times it goes up to 2 1/4 and then decreases .

What's up with that any one have the answer on why?

my guess would b normal warming up process...cars in my family that date back to mid 80's have done that...i recall our '85 Civic went to 3K before going back down.

And your MPG will go down the toilet in the winter....

Summer time 22-24, winter time barely 20 MPG.
