Does anyone know how to reset the maintenance light on a 2001 CLS? I don't fell like taking it all the way back to the dealer to have them perform what is probably a 30 second procedure.

Hold the both reset & select buttons (for your trip meter) while you turn you cars ignition to the II position (thats the position where all the dash lights go on but the car isnt on yet)... Hold both of the buttons down for aprox. 10 seconds. You should notice that that maitenance light will freeze temporarly and then go away. I think its on page 62 or 63 in your manual...
