Reply from Xephyr - Please read

All outstanding orders will be shipped this weekend. I erroneously prepaid shipping labels for boxes 14x14x20 @ 4lbs when they were 14x14x14 @ 5lbs .... I am on vacation in L.B.I. N.J. through thurs. Inventory is plentiful and not an issue. - I apologize for the delay ...-All will be rectified ASAP.

FYI - PARK AVE ACURA IS NOW AN AUTHORIZED DISTTRIBUTOR.... Local Customers contact them for pricing and installation ! Approx. $200.00 + installation (Pricing on XephyrPerformance.com will be adjusted Monday April 30th for all new orders)

P.S. - The "homo" comments are juvenile and uncalled for regarding me personally.... Those of you that know me ... know how far off base that is.... When you see reps or owners of AEM or Injen driving 120+ miles to do installations for less then $400 Net Profit for 6 CAI's on a significantly finite market compared to M.B. + B.M.W. then I'll entertain immature bashing without an unprofessional recourse ...... My profit margin on the line for the Type S is as slim as the wit of comments some members show.... I do not generalize or stereotype ... They know who they are... and honestly give me more reason to pull the LEAST profitable model line from my retail sales line (I understand the valid concerns of customers that know my operation and follow my progress.... I do not however pay significant concern to bitter members that chose another vendor that offered a speedy turnaround for a lesser and overpriced product) ........

One man + business phone + cellular forwarding off hours + free powder coating + free meet installation for minimal purchase quantities = Xephyr Performance,L.L.C. (Obviously not in the Type S market for the money ... As it represents <25% of sales ) I stand behind my products 100% and maintain this model product line .... in light of all the aforementioned ..... draw your own conclusions.

***** I thank all of my supporters whole heartedly *****

Christopher Koncur

That sounds like good news.
If I do indeed get confirmation of my shipment after the w/e (ie: tracking # and see the shipment in progress) I'll be ecstatic

Until then, I just think of the person here who's had a tracking number and no shipment for months.

But nice to get a reply from the man

Hmm.

Sounds good.

He doesnt need to be so defensive though... the only negative comments hes getting are from people who have paid him and havent received what they paid for yet.

Oh well. Seems that alls well now...

Geez, he drove that distance just to do 6 cai installs? I thought he sold more than that at the ny/nj meet. You damn cheapskates!! . BTW, what bashing are all of you guys talking about ??? homo? vanilla ice?? I guess I missed something.

Its obvious that xephyr is not out to rip anyone off. There is just a lag time that seems to be expected when purchasing his product. The lag time should be rectified now that he is dealing with a legitimate dealership.

It appears his prices will rise slightly though on April 30 - so get it now huh? Aren't they 180 now? The $20 increase should equate to shipping, so. . . hmm.. purchase this friday?! ughh... decisions decisions...

Hey Chris:

GOOD reply man!

I am sure that those who are having to wait (even after they paid) will be more than satisfied with the product.

I know that I am, and I want to thank you for the installation you did at the meet. I'm sure I also speak for Ernie, Shawn and Moses on that issue.

Too bad it was getting dark otherwise I'm sure you would have done Mike's car too!! You're a good man for that.

Chris: On a related but separate issue, I want to talk with you about something on the CAI. Please e-mail me.

TIA, Pete

You can speak for me anyday Acuraman and yes, I agree with Chris. Let's ALL just step away from the Xephyr issues for now.

I will gladly step away after he sends me my refund, which is something he did not address in his letter. As I said before, he is very good about taking care of his local constituents, and his product is an excellent value. I just wish he were better about keeping his promises about sending my check.
