Replacing high beams...

Anyone have any hints on how to replace them? I have the new bulbs already.

I am in the same boat. Will my dealership change them if I pay ? I don't think I want to mess with this project. Unless someone has a simple fix ?

I think it shows how to change them in the manual. It's pretty simple. Just unplug them, turn the base 1/4 turn, and remove them.

One of them is that easy. The other one is pretty difficult to get to.

Yeah, if it is anything like the 1st gen's, you would have to take out a couple of parts to reach the driver side headlights. Other then that, yeah just unplug and turn.

The one for the passenger's side is pretty easy to get to. The driver's side isn't bad but it's hard to put back the coolant reservoir. It fell through twice, but got it after some finessing. Good luck. It's in the owner's manual as well.

C'mon guys, it's easy. After you do it, you'll be kicking yourself for not doing it sooner. The only tricky part is removing the coolant overflow reservoir on the driver side. Just lift it out and have someone hold it (while cool!) and remove the bulb holder. Do not touch the glass with your fingers, use a tissue or something soft for both removing the old bulb and putting in the new.
